‘Outplayed’: Mitch Marsh rues Australia’s ODI capitulation to South Africa

Mitch Marsh expressed his disappointment over Australia’s lackluster performance in their first ODI against South Africa, where they fell to a 67-run loss after a series of low-score dismissals during a disappointing run chase in Durban.

Acting captain Marsh initially appeared to set the stage for a win with his explosive 60-run opening innings, but after he was dismissed carelessly against the spin bowling of Keshav Maharaj, none of his teammates managed to build the partnerships needed to come close to the hosts’ target of 298 runs.
